Line filters are required on each phone device which will share the same phone number as your ADSL service.

The filter is placed between an individual phone device and the wall socket and removes any of the ADSL frequencies that may interfere with your telephone devices. You need one filter for each telephone device. Phone devices include telephones, fax machines, answering machines, Dial-Up modems and telephone based alarm systems. Do not filter the ADSL connection.
